Why a Shower? In previous years the showers brings in several truck loads of “shower gifts” by our attendees; these gifts are the basic items the women and families at WINGS use daily. For example: GIFT CERTIFICATES, new pillows, new coffee makers, new towels, new toasters. In previous years, the event raised over $15,000 in cash making it possible for us to continue offering a safe, supportive home, counselling and programs to women and children who have left situations of domestic violence.
